Bascom Palmer Eye Institute’s XLVII Inter-American Course in Clinical Ophthalmology (CURSO), is designed for practicing ophthalmologists to provide maximum emphasis on pragmatic approaches to clinical problems. While originally designed for ophthalmologists from Latin American and the Caribbean, practitioners from throughout the world will also benefit from CURSO's broad comprehensive update on all ophthalmic subspecialties. Attendees will gain knowledge and expertise shared by world-renowned invited speakers and members of the Bascom Palmer faculty. In addition to the extensive course material presented with simultaneous English-Spanish translation, more than 60 commercial exhibitors participate in an accompanying trade show. This year, there will be extensive opportunities to be exposed to and practice different surgical techniques during 'wet labs' and surgical simulation sessions in the breakout sessions.
