Who we are
Early Discovery provides services to young children and their parents, ages 0-5, with special needs throughout Miami-Dade County.
What we do
Early Discovery is an early intervention initiative funded by The Children’s Trust. We offer intervention services (speech, behavior, occupational and developmental intervention/therapy) to families throughout Miami-Dade County. We offer between 8 to 20 sessions.
Who we serve
Children ages 0-5 whose parents have mild concerns about their development or who have an assessment indicating a mild developmental delay. Parents interested in services will receive an assessment to ensure that the child is a good fit for Early Discovery Services.
What we cost
Early Discovery is funded by The Children’s Trust, which has enabled us to provide our services to families at low to no cost. The Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County.
Services are based on a sliding scale fee.
