This year, that commitment was recognized in a historic way. UHealth became the first health system in Florida to achieve Magnet® with Distinction, the highest honor given by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet with Distinction Recognition Program®.
This distinction reflects more than a single achievement. It represents a culture of excellence that is evident in every aspect of nursing practice, from the bedside to the classroom, from research and innovation to leadership and community engagement. It is a testament to the expertise, compassion, and heart our nurses bring to every patient interaction and to the exceptional care our patients and families experience every day.
As I reflect on this milestone, I am filled with gratitude for the extraordinary nurses, faculty, and staff whose commitment made it possible. Their collaboration, professionalism, and unwavering focus on quality continue to elevate patient care and strengthen our organization.
Beyond providing exceptional care, our nurses are advancing the profession, improving outcomes, and helping redefine what is possible in healthcare. This report highlights many of their accomplishments and showcases the collective impact of a nursing community dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence.
