2022 marked the 30th naming anniversary of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
To recognize the Sylvester family for their philanthropy and foresight, they were honored with a celebratory dinner and a tribute book that chronicles their legacy in the cancer center’s history and its promise for the future. During the event, University of Miami President Julio Frenk offered his gratitude, calling the members of the Sylvester family incredible stewards of their legacy and an integral part of the University. As part of its strong partnership with the cancer center, the Harcourt M. and Virginia W. Sylvester Foundation has committed more than $62 million to date.
