The Tumor Registry at the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics has proven to be a valuable resource for hospital and administrative planning, treatment planning, research, and monitoring of patient outcomes. It is a fully integrated, multifunctional database comprised of demographic, diagnostic, treatment and outcome information on all cancer patients with reportable disease, both analytic and non analytic, from our reference date of January 1, 2005 to the present. Registry staff is charged with identification, collection, analysis, and quality control of the data, in addition to lifetime follow up of all analytic patients contained in the database in accordance with Florida Cancer Data System (FCDS) and American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC) guidelines.
